Speaking about the outdoors, if you want to immerse yourself in nature visit Shangrila Farms. Snap some last-minute summer pictures by discovering this beautiful 10-acre garden surrounded by dahlia flowers, sculptures, and flower tunnels.
2. Go for a hike

3. Stroll the vendor booths at Mission City Farmers Market
Go down to Welton Street to stock up on some fresh summer veggies and fruits! Aside from fresh ingredients, the farmer's market has vendors that sell treats, snacks, jewelry, and artisanal items. The market is on every Saturday from 9am-1pm until October.

4. Head to the movies for only $3
Enjoy the cool, breezy air conditioning and fresh hot popcorn at Silvercity Mission. As a bonus, they're offering $3 tickets for all films this Saturday, September 3rd!

Whether you are a swimmer or lounger, a day at the lake is what everyone needs. Choose from these 5 fresh water lakes for your last summer dip; Hayward lake, Sayres lake, Rolley Lake and Devils lake.

Please note that due to the popularity of Hayward the parking lot often reaches capacity prior to 9 a.m. on a sunny weekend to which the gates will close to vehicles. Please plan ahead and have an option B!
