With views of Mount Baker and the valley towards Chilliwack to the east and, the Canadian Pacific Railway Bridge and iconic Mission Bridge to the west, this is a beautiful and peaceful spot to sit and watch the world go by. With the pace and depth of the Fraser River changing across the seasons, Mission Harbour is a beautiful area for photographers and relaxers alike. Sit down along the benches at Jack Poole Harbourside and with patience and a lot of luck you may even be lucky enough to see a sturgeon jump or a seal pop up to say "hi".
Did you know that the Mission Bridge is seen as the line where the tidal waters change? To the west is saltwater and to the east is freshwater.
