Inch Creek Hatchery

Tucked away against the backdrop of Dewdney Peak and Nicomen Mountain, this satellite fish hatchery is run by Fisheries and Oceans Canada and offers an inside look at how sockeye, chum, and coho salmon and steelhead trout spawn, grow and are later released into tributaries primarily along the Fraser River.  There are also two large sturgeon in a pond (Arnold and Henry) that make for easy viewing of these gentle giants.

With educational displays and staff often on hand, this is a great stop on route to your final destination or take a picnic and make a day of it, and include a dip at Norrish Creek.

Open daily from 9 am – 3 pm.
